Joel Knopf studied cognitive science at Yale and negotiation at Harvard, and helps brands tap into the power of minds, brains, and language to influence consumer behavior. He finds stories that hit people in the gut, metaphors that make complexity clear, and the words to deliver it all in a tidy package. Joel will graduate from Harvard with the manuscript of a novel and a J.D. in 2013.   Ask him about the seductive lure of explanations.
